The difference between Sejong Korean and Sejong Practical Korean
The language proficiency levels of the two course types are the same, but there are a few differences.
- Practical Korean focuses more on verbal communication.
- They use different textbooks - Sejong Korean 1A to 4B versus Sejong Practical Korean 1-4.
- Different exams at the end of the semester: the Sejong Korean exam is made up of 4 parts, while the Sejong Practical Korean exam is made up of 2 parts.
At our basic level courses, we recommend taking classes based on both types of textbooks. At the intermediate level classes, we use the Practical Korean books.
